Cocoa Beach is arguably the most famous part of the Space Coast, Florida, for visitors. One look at the beautiful Cocoa Beach, and you’ll know why. Many of the region’s most enjoyable things to do focus around this stretch of the sand. The Cocoa Beach Pier remains to be our preferred way to consume a day in Cocoa. Roam the pier, watch souls, stand-up paddleboarding or go surfing, grab a mouthful to eat, lean back a margarita, shop for souvenirs, and walk to the end of the pier for marvelous photos and a sense that seems to go on forever. If you’re in the city for some of the famous surf festivals, you’re in profit. One of the world’s largest humane surf fests wins a place in Cocoa Beach, and so does an unusual dog surfing competition. The drama continues with airboat trips that take you into the marshy waters, where you can look for bald eagles and alligators before having some alligator or frog stakes at the on-site eatery. Cocoa is super productive, so hit up the skate playground and the legendary Ron Jon Surf Shop. Definitely omit time for culture, though. One of the best society theaters in the state resides in Cocoa Village, and the Brevard Museum is a family fave to get out out of the warm sun and improve your minds.
