Things to do in Napes Florida

Found on southwest Florida’s Gulf Coast at the corner of the Everglades, Naples has palm tree-lined avenues and a glitzy fame reputation. But the city also has a small-town feel and wears its soft and relaxed island style in similar measure, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a romantic or luxury getaway, family vacay, Everglades experience, or chill beach vibe. Undoubtedly, the 280 average days of sunshine is famous for year-round golf, but there are so many additional things to do in Naples as well, making it an ideal destination for couples and families. Shopping in Naples Florida is an Olympic sport, and yes the beaches are all that. It’s a restaurant powerhouse, and place to the arts and endless outdoor activities, including some of the best fishing in Florida. Honestly, there’s so enough to see and do, your most vital decision may be where to begin. So let’s start with the food!

Best Things to Do With Kids in Naples

For families, the opportunities are endless when it comes to entertaining things to do with kids in Naples. Our kids and grandkids prefer it at the Sun-n-Fun Lagoon, Collier County’s premier water park. They have four pools, a splash playground, a long lazy river that’s open in the warmer spring and summer months, five water slides, and a concession stand.

Since it’s sunny in Naples most of the year, you can experience the beach year round although ocean warmth is typically better for swimming March through November. The clear Gulf Coast is ordinarily calm with a soft sandy bottom – excellent for small children and kids of all ages to play in.

One of my beloved family beaches in Naples is Lowdermilk Park, which has a concession stand, sand volleyball courts, two children’s playgrounds, benches, picnic tables and restroom & shower facilities. They also hire kayaks and SUPs (stand up paddleboards) and have lots of metered and unmetered parking.
There are further great attractions in Naples that the entire family can enjoy, many of which are foundations with a deep history in the society.

Hit The Best Beaches In Naples

The first thing to do when you go to town is head to the approaching beach to take in a deep whiff of salt air and immerse your toes into the soft white sand. Naples beaches consistently rank among the most fabulous beaches in the world. There may be 16 miles of shoreline from which to prefer, but these are my tools for the valid beaches in Naples. All Naples beaches give public access with no bridges to cross (or pay for) and insufficient traffic. You won’t find boardwalks, t-shirt shops, essential thoroughfares or any highways running along the beach. Street access along the beach is often residential and therefore relatively quiet. Directly park your car at one of the primary access points in town and walk to your nearest ideal beach.
Naples Zoo At Caribbean Gardens

The 44-acre Naples Zoo started as a tropical garden in 1919, and today this small city zoo has several native species along with other different residents like giraffes, a giant anteater, big cats, and lemurs, or take a boat ride around Monkey Island.
